LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (CAR REQUIRED)

Conditions

• Compensation: €32 to €35/hour (varies depending on experience, shift, and additional tasks at the client's home)
• Hours: 4-35 hours/week - Full-time, part-time, casual
• Compensation for occasional work less than 3 hours/day: 50% of daily earnings
• Pay: Every 2 weeks
• Travel: Travel expenses reimbursed to clients' homes
• Status: Permanent position based on needs
• Availability: Day, evening,night, weekend – starting January 2026

• Required Skills

• Languages: French;English
• Education: DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Health, Assistance and Nursing Care, obtained in France
• License: Full member of the OIIAQ (or applicable professional order)
• Experience: At least one year of experience in France
• Work Location: At the client's home
• Work Environment: Non-smoking

• Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation, pain)
• Perform a summary assessment of the client's condition and report any deterioration
• Administer medications according to instructions, within the scope of practice;
• Provide wound care and dressings, skin care, and pressure ulcer prevention;
• Perform certain invasive procedures according to training, protocols, and authorization (e.g., injections)
• Ensure hygiene, comfort, mobilization, and assistance with activities of daily living as needed
• Apply infection prevention and control (IPC) measures;
• Document interventions and follow the care plan;
• Collaborate with the team (nurse, other professionals, family) and ensure effective communication.
• Ensure a safe working environment, use personal protective equipment, and maintain confidentiality.

• Additional Information

• Safety and Security:
• Must have CPAM (French National Health Insurance) coverage.
• Criminal record check (required).
• Up-to-date vaccinations (e.g., tetanus) and proof of immunization as required by the facility.
• Screening test required if necessary (e.g., TB) according to current policies.
• Valid CPR/AED certification (required).
• An employee tracking system will be implemented.
